Ingredients
•Ripe bananas,peeled and cut into long pieces 4
•Refined flour (maida) 1 cup
•Cornflour/ corn starch 1/2 cup
•Powdered sugar 1/4 cup
•Soda bicarbonate a pinch
•Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
•Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon
•Oil 2 tablespons + for deep-frying
•Dried coconut ( khopra),grated 1/2 cup
•Icing sugar 1 tablespoon
•Cocoa powder 1 tablespoon
Method
Mixtogether refined flour, cornflour, powdered sugar, soda bicarbonate, green cardamom powder, cinnamon powder and little water to make a thick batter.
Add 2 tbsps oil and dried coconut and mix well.Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.Dip the bananas in maida batter and slide them in hot oil.
Deep fry, on medium heat, till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
Transfer onto a serving plate. Sprinkle icing sugar and cocoa powder and serve hot.
